Love to get away

I decided to enter a contest with a travel agency. Could win a Caribbean cruise for 4 people. I know the odds aren't in my favour, but why not =p http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/142/14294513/vids_1.html

E3!

I've been watching the coverage of E3 with Ryan today.

The Microsoft press conference was cool. They announced a lot of stuff! One that I'm really excited for is The Beatles Rock Band! =D It comes out September 9th. I like the art style and it'll be so much fun to sing the songs! They've actually added the option for harmonies! How cool is that?!
They also announced NATAL. It's pretty much an xbox home entertainment system WITH NO CONTROLLER! It reads 3D movements, voice & facial recognition and offers insane stuff! You can watch movies immediately (no downloading) and go on facebook and twitter. They showed this program (I think his name was Milo). A young boy on the screen who recognizes your voice, your face, responds to everything you do. You hold a piece of paper with a drawing on it and the camera recognizes it, then suddenly milo is holding the paper and tells you what the drawing is, of what color, etc... It's INSANE! Kinda creeps me out a bit =p

They showed a little bit of HALO ODST. Looks cool. I may not be good at the games, but I very much enjoy HALO. They also showed HALO: Reach. Not much on it. Just a snippet. But I have a feeling it'll be epic! =D

The biggest chills though were for a game EA showed. Star Wars: Old Republic! OMG! The trailer is soooo EPIC! I had chills! It's like a movie! Once a good quality video of it goes up, I will post the link. So badass! =D

More frustration

I went into work today and worked for an hour and a half! Because of the US holiday yesterday we had next to no freight going out. I scanned all my afternoon boxes in my truck (88 pieces). I then have to drive up to the "meet" to hand those out amongst 5 other couriers. Everything but one document went out. I had 1 delivery. Which ended up going to another driver. Apparently because it was so light, dispatch told them to absorb my deliveries & pickups.

So I ended up fueling and heading back to the station. What sucked was I took the bus from Oxford and Wharncliffe to work. The meet is one street down from Oxford and Wharncliffe. So I drove my FedEx truck all the way up, only to go all the way back down to the station, to come all the way back up to go home! Ugh! I can't wait to get my car!

I work Thursday and Saturday. I'm then not in again until the following Thursday/Friday. I desperately need another job. The problem is finding one that is willing to work around my FedEx schedule.

Frustrated...

I don't understand...

Did/am I doing something wrong...? Now I just feel like an idiot afterwards. I hate not being able to read people...

I'm lost...

I still have NO idea what to do this coming September. It's on my mind everyday! I just want it settled and done with. But it's so hard to just say "okay, this is it!".

The thought of going back to Mohawk honestly brings me right down. I'm dreading it. And it's only May! I definitely don't belong/fit in there. Definitely not as passionate as the other students there.

But I only have one more year (maybe). And my folks really want me to finish. My dad's just really excited to have me living with him. And to be honest, I love the idea of it too. Not having to worry about siblings and my mum =p I will miss my Dougal though. Thank goodness he's only up the road from me.

I'm going onto campus on Wednesday morning. Gonna head over to the Geography department and figure out my requirements for applying.

'ello 'ello!

Just decided to create an account of my own since I follow a few of my mate's ones. Usually only update when I feel like it. I also have an lj account so odds are I'll just be copying and pasting between the 2. =p

I can't really post anything now. But I'll be back later.

Cheers!
